Bangkok has established itself as a veritable shopping mecca in Asia, and Siam is home to popular malls such as Siam Paragon, Siam Center, MBK, etc. Some of the names may sound similar and can get confusing at times, but once you’ve gotten the hang of things, you too shall become a Siam mall expert! I’ve compiled several of my visits to these places during this trip on this blog post so let’s get started!
We are now in Siam Square One, the latest shopping mall in the area which is located just across Siam Paragon. My friends and I explored it one evening to check out the various shops and to search for LINE Village (which I’ll be blogging about on a separate post!)
Inside a Thai Mcdonalds in search of something different on their menu.
They have some sort of curry crabsticks pie. Sounds yummy!
It’s cool that Bangkok also has a DAISO! It’s one of my favorite shops in the Philippines and Japan.
Tuk-Tuk ice cream! Very cute presentation.
Fluffy style souffle pancakes are also popular around Bangkok.
I didn’t know they also had a Hello Kitty cafe in Thailand! Soooo cute!
Some of the cutest window displays ever: dressed up Alpacas!
Siam Center is just nearby which looked very beautifully illuminated at night.
A cute cafe with waitresses dressed up in maid costumes! Bake a Wish is such an adorable name!
These stairs are lit up like video monitors.
There are some clothing displays and exhibits which are all so interesting especially if you’re into fashion and design.
This statue looked so realistic…
Siam Center is one of my favorites for artsy and quirky stuff. The shop designs and interiors are so fresh and detailed it’s like being in a show room viewing art pieces.
Everywhere you look is a visual feast, it’s amazing!
There’s also a food republic here which is a popular food court chain based in Singapore.
Such a fancy and expensive tumbler lol.
Matcha ice cream in Dairy Queen which unfortunately cannot be found in the Philippines.
Me and my friends had been meaning to go to MO & MOSHI for their famous gargantuan parfaits, but we didn’t have enough people with us to consume the giant one which costs a whopping 3,000 baht (4,600 php) lol. Anyway, we randomly found the shop after walking around the food court area so we just took pictures.
They have smaller sundaes too, but it’s the giant ones which have garnered the attention of the public thanks to the internet!
The monster Strawberry Supreme which consists of 22 scoops of ice cream and is bigger than a human head lol.
I will come back for you one day my pretty. Haha!
This one looks really pretty and tasty too! I looove marshmallows!

I agree. Siam Center is really awesome and I recommend it especially for people with an eye for art and design.
There’s also this cool market outside selling stuff such as clothes, accessories and trinkets which is worth a look if you have the time.
Siam Discovery is another beautiful mall which incorporates art and lifestyle, utilizing the merchandise and interior into one amazing space.
Madame Tussauds, which is a museum chain featuring wax figures of famous Americans and Historic icons, can be found on the 6th floor of the shopping mall. Britney Spears is displayed as a sample advert in the ground floor lol.
There are plenty of cool and avant garde designer labels such as Issey Miyake.
The mall is brightly lit and spares no expense at all the geometric visual overload.
The Loft is probably my favorite shop in this mall, since they feature tons of cute and kitschy items with quirky characters and toys.
I love all the colorful pop-culture themed items!
Some last minute purchases: Pastel tumblers which came with detachable bows! I fell in love with the design and the pink color completely captivated me, plus it wasn’t too expensive at around 180 baht.
These cat stickers are so gorgeous!
Some notebooks in adorable prints. I just can’t get enough of them~!
I bought a couple for my friend who loves cats and raccoons. I think they make great souvenir gifts!
I also randomly found this intricately designed clear pink glass on display which was just so girly and cute~! And it cost only 95 baht so I just had to have it for my personal use! I love it a lot!
Siam Paragon is said to be the third largest mall in Bangkok and features mostly international high-end fashion brands.
It looks super fancy even just from the outside!
Fountain and display at the center. Tons of people kept taking photos here lol.
There’s a huge grocery and food court at the basement area. I love that they also have Coco Ichibanya in Thailand!
My friend wanted to eat in MOS Burger so we tried the one here. I’ve eaten at the MOS burger branches in Hong Kong, Singapore and of course Japan so now it’s the Thai version lol.
I usually always eat the same things from MOS so this time was no different.
I got a MOS Mileage card hehe cute!
The only thing I don’t miss about Thailand is their lack of service water. I have to keep buying drinking water or choose to die of thirst. It’s only 20 baht but still, Philippines rocks with the free water lol.
Beef Yakiniku Rice Burger – 109 baht
MOS Cheese Burger – 99 baht
The malls around Siam Square can be easily found by taking the BTS to Siam Station. Have fun and shop away!
I’ll be featuring other malls in Bangkok soon on later posts!
